Your Rights and How to Exercise Them
You control your personal data. Depending on your jurisdiction (see the jurisdiction pages), you have the right to:
| Right | What it means |
|---|---|
| Access | A copy of the personal data we hold about you, and what we do with it |
| Correction | Fixing inaccurate or incomplete data |
| Deletion | Erasure of your data where no legal duty requires keeping it |
| Restriction | Pausing processing while a dispute about it is resolved |
| Objection | Objecting to processing based on legitimate interests |
| Portability | Your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format |
| Withdraw consent | At any time, without affecting prior lawful processing: use the Cookie preferences link in the footer of the site where you accepted, since a choice does not carry between sites. The Spotify player on cuesoft.io is separate: the banner does not govern it, so clear Spotify’s cookies in your browser and simply do not click it again |
| Complain | To your supervisory authority: named per jurisdiction |
How to exercise them
- Email hello@cuesoft.io with what you want and enough information for us to find and verify you (usually the email or phone you used with us). We verify every request to protect your data from impostors: we ask only for what verification needs.
- We respond within one month. Where a request is complex, the law lets us extend (up to two further months under the GDPR); if we extend, we tell you within the first month and say why.
- Exercising rights is free, except where the law permits a reasonable fee for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests, and if we ever rely on that, we will say so in writing.
- If we refuse a request (for example, deletion of a record the law requires us to keep), we tell you why and which authority you can complain to.
- You may use an authorised agent where your law provides for one; we verify the agent’s authority and your identity.
Automated decisions
We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Application decisions across all programmes are made by humans.
