Privacy Policy


This Privacy Policy sets out how Cuesoft collects, uses, stores, shares and protects any information that you give Cuesoft when you subscribe to its services. Cuesoft is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information when subscribing to our services; you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

You accept this Policy and hereby give us consent to save, process and use your Personal Data to the extent as allowed by the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) when you provide us with details of your Personal Data or by clicking on the “submit” button. You may withdraw your consent at any time before, during and after we process your Personal Data. Personal Data is information that can be directly used to identify you and includes but is not limited to your name, address, telephone number, email address and any other information of like nature.


Cuesoft collects Information from you when you subscribe to our service. The type of Information that we collect from you depends on the service you require from Cuesoft. We may also collect information you provide us including but not limited to information on web forms, account update information and correspondence with the Website support services team. Information obtained through voluntary submissions (e.g., responses to surveys, requests for information on Cuesoft Website and review of Website usage patterns, survey responses, customer enquiries and other means may also be collected and used by us. Cuesoft will only collect information that is necessary for the provision of the product or service that you have subscribed to.


Cuesoft may use cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies to collect information about you automatically as you use our Website. This includes information sent to us by your computer, mobile phone, or other electronic access devices. The automatically collected information includes but is not limited to data about the pages you access, computer IP address, device ID or unique identifier, device type, geo-location information, computer and connection information, mobile network information, statistics on page views, traffic to and from the sites, referral URL, ad data, the dates and times of your use of the Website and standard web log data. We may combine this information with other information that we collect from you.

Cuesoft may share User information With law enforcement, government officials, or other third parties in the event of a subpoena, court order or similar legal procedure or where such disclosure is necessary to report suspected illegal activity or to protect Cuesoft’s legal right or property. The services of third party may also be employed to help us in certain areas, such as website hosting, marketing and market researching. In some cases that third party may receive your information. However, at all times we will endeavor to keep control and be responsible for the use of your information.


Information collected will be held securely and will only be kept for as long as is reasonably necessary for as long as you use the service or product that you are subscribed to, unless you have provided us with your consent to use the data for any additional purposes. We take the security of the information you provide very seriously, and we will take all appropriate technical, administrative and physical safeguards/measures using recognized security procedures and tools in accordance with good industry practice to protect your Information. We have reasonable security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and interception by third parties of the information under our control, but, to the extent allowed by law. Cuesoft assumes no liability for any damage you may suffer as a result of interception, alteration or misuse of information transmitted over the Internet. Whilst we use all reasonable endeavors to protect your security in the manner described above, we consider that it is only appropriate to advise users that data transmission over the Internet and the World Wide Web cannot be guaranteed as 100% secure.


The Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019 gives you certain rights in respect of the Personal Data we hold about you. Below is a highlight of some of those rights;

  1. You have a right to consent to this Policy and to withdraw your consent at any time. However, your withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  2. You have a right to a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you, as well as the information about what we do with it, who we share it with and how long we hold it for, provided you shot us/forward the proof of your identity. We may make a reasonable charge for additional copies of that data in the case of unfounded and excessive requests.
  3. You have a right to freely transfer your data received from us to any other person.
  4. You have the right to have the Personal Data we hold about you corrected, if it is factually inaccurate, by notifying us of such amendment/update. You may contact us for this purpose.
  5. In some circumstances, you have the right to the deletion of the information that we hold about you.
  6. You have a right to lodge a complaint about the handling of your personal information with the with the National Information Technology Development Agency (“NITDA”).
  7. You have the right to ask us not to process your Personal Data for marketing purposes.


Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. Cuesoft does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 18. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.


In the event of a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to your Personal Data, We shall within 72 (seventy-two) hours of having knowledge of such breach report the details of the breach to NITDA. Furthermore, we shall inform the Data Subject of the breach incident, the risk to the rights and freedoms of the Data Subject resulting from such breach and any course of action to remedy the said breach.


This Policy is made pursuant to the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and Nigeria Data Protection Regulation, 2019 and other relevant Nigerian laws and regulations. Where any provision of this Policy is deemed inconsistent with a law or regulation, such provision shall be subject to the overriding law or regulation.


We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time and in our sole discretion, subject to applicable law. We will post the revised version of this Privacy Policy on this page and update the date at the top of this Privacy Policy when we make changes. Unless otherwise stated in the revised Privacy Policy or as required by applicable law, the revised Privacy Policy will supersede any and all previous versions. You may choose whether or not to accept a revised version of this Privacy Policy, but continuing to access or use our Services will require you to accept this Privacy Policy as revised. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, or any subsequent revised version of this Privacy Policy, your only option is to stop using our Services.
